So we all have it, some worse than others, and it's nothing to be ashamed of. But if you don't let out all that surplus of GAS then you are liable to explode (also the reason that vegans are stupid for not drinking milk). So I figured I'd make a topic where everyone can post the things they really, really want. Think of it as a guitarist's version of these beauties:

Image

Therefore, let me begin. I figure it'd be interesting to work out roughly what all this would set me back. I would really, really like:

A Boss RC20XL (looper) - £159.00
A Yamaha LL1612 (12-string) - £489.00
A Rode NT1000 (large diaphragm condenser) - £159.00
Some Sennheiser HD200s (beautiful closed-back headphones) - £36.99
A Fishman Rare Earth Blend (acoustic pup) - £225.99

That's a cool £1069.98, then. With my Sunday job I get around £100 a month, so that's almost a year before I can afford it all, haha. Nice one.

I saw a picture of Head from Korn with a double neck 7 stringer thing.

Cept one neck was a 14 stringer (12 string with octaved low B)

I WANT ONE.

I wanna, I wanna, I wanna, I wanna have a:
direct drive vinyl player with an USB-output, the zoom H4 (but I'm curious about the Zoom H2 as well) and misc cheap guitar pedals (amongst other the RC20XL, although it's not that cheap) for the rest of my already blown budget.

-Fender Classic Telecaster (Mexican) - £400? Or Standard £290 or less.
-White Pearloid pickguard for the Tele - £15?
-Lace Sensor Red and Blue - £Dunno, i'll try cheap, i know someone who got a Blue for £15...

That'll be my backup guitar, and guitar for practices 'cause my hardcase in our practice stable is too big.

-Fender Hot Rod Deluxe (well, to replace the broken one, Thomann hopefully picking it up soon).

A good mic and computer for my year out to record. And a car. And a Driving Test Pass, but i gotta take it first...

Chops - Priceless

In terms of gear: OD-3, MIJ Boss DS-1

Thank our benevolent creator, Janice, I'm quite happy with my rig. If I had a bigger pedalboard I'd add a Boss CE-20 or DC-2 and a stereo rig (which I have the means of, question is practibility).

Fulltone or Budda Wahs. On a budget and if you don't mind the less than sturdy construction, the Dunlop GCB-95F is actually quite a good wah

Actually, I have everything I want already. Amazingly, none of it works.

My guitar's input jack is broken. My amplifier is broken--It needs new tubes or something. My big muff pedal has a broken battery clip.

I don't know how much it's going to cost to fix those things, but I'll get around to it someday. It's already been over a year though.
