Semi hollow body, so "for reals" F holes.

I am aware it's not a fake one like gilberts, and while it may sound good, it looks wrong.

You're a fool Gaz, a fool. Nah - I doubt I'll ever own another 8-string and I'm slowly veering away from Ibanez's aesthetics, but that thing is fucking beastly. I think the PGMs with the fake F-holes are pretty naff, but not only is that infinitely classier, the idea of a semi-hollow 8-string makes my knees tremble just a touch.

I just can't put f holes and Rg's in the same scentence. Even Mr Gilberts made me throw up in my mouth a little. Actually i think if ibanez had a line of semi hollow rg's with perhaps more modern looking "holes" and not the old F style it'd be great. I can't remember what manufacturer did the ones im thinking of but they really fit in with the look of the guitar without adding the old fashioned presence with the f shaped holes. They were perhaps a little understated but i thought that was a great thing to have instead of a fuck off F hole everyone went nuts over.


Anyways, my 2 cents or pennies or whatnot.
