So there I was, sitting at work with my media player set to random play, minding my own business (as per usual) when suddenly, Get Along Rider by Eric Sardinas came on. Man, can this guy can play or what?! I'm just astounded by the lead playing on this song in particular. I don't really listen to blues, but this guy is just amazing. I got to see him open for Steve Vai several years back on his Real Illusions tour, and he is also one hell of a showman. Can't believe there wasn't a thread about him already.

Anyways, I wanted to share this song with someone. Here's a youtube video for the studio version with a slideshow of different shots of him. Listen. Nao.

I listen to a lot of blues but had never heard of this guy before. Great playing reminds me a little of Johny Winters in his blues/rock era.
